I gotta question.
I got a P4 1.6Aghz clocked at 2.14ghz.
So far so good no crashes yet.
My mobo is a MSI 845E Max.
I raised my FSB to 133 from 100.
Now i want to know how much i can raise my FSB.
1 person raised it to 150 and reached 2.4ghz
I have the stock HSF and want to know how much i can push the FSB to raise my clock.
Also my memory is 256 ddr ram pc266 from hynix.

Hey, just start increasing by upping your fsb 3-5 at a time, until it becomes unstable. At that point you will probably have to start to raise your vcore as well. Again, with as small increments as possible. All the time watching your temps.(32--36c.@idle would be normal, i think)-----but you should get to 2.4--2.6 or close to that anyway. Basically it's all dependant on your chip's capability to handle all that xtra fsb and heat. They all differ, so what you may or may not acheive is totally due to the manufacturing plant. Also, take a look at "overclockers.com"; under the "CPU DATABASE" to see the full range of results for your particular chip....... good luck!!!!
Oh yeah, if your mobo has the pci/agp divider lock, this will help as well since you won't be o/c'ing them out of spec., helping in the stability aspect!!!!!( should be 33/66)
