P4 1.7GHz, How far can it go?

I'm having my P4 1.7Ghz (S473) for 15 months now. It seems like the highest i can go is only 2Ghz. The higher I push, it just seems unstable. I wonder how those people out there can clock the bus speed to higher than 480MHz? for sure the PCI bus and VGA bus exceed the limit (40MHz and 80MHz). Can their cards support that high speed??? And will it be really stable?

the .18um Wilamette Pentium 4 tops out at 2.0Ghz. Don't expect a 1.7 to go much above 2.0 without some serious cooling, like a water peltier or liquid nitrogen
