I have a MSI 875P Neo-FISR(PCB 2.0) with Memory 1g Corsair TWINX1024-4000PRO and a Coolermaster Cpu cooler Jet4, currently I put everything in default performance mode is normal, D.O.T rage is disabled, Dram Frequency is Auto, CPU bus 200. and Dram timeing is 3-4-4-8 burst length 8, and for voltage Vcore is 1.4v, memory is 2.6v and AGP is 1.5, I have tried to OC my cpu from 3.2 to 3.7 but it will become very unstable and my ram was runing at 466, so can anyone tell me how to setting up my bios and what will be the best. Thank you.

what is DOT?? any way cpu @ 1.5V never more than 1.6 with prescot, ram to 2.7 or maybe 2.8 V agp should be ok
be sure to lock the agp/pci frequency 66.6/33.3 mhz

And keep an eye on those temps I don't know how good the cooler is.

D.O.T is Dynamic Overclocking Technology. it is the feature from MSI. My Cooler is Coolermaster Jet4 the fan speed is 1900~3500 rpm and Air Flow is 12.0~22.1 CFM do you think it can keep up the work?

turn off that DOT thing ur going to do the overclocking urself and not the board. I've got ASUS AI in my current board and it lets you choose to overclock 5, 10, 20, 30% well it doesn't work... That said, u have more control when you know what u are doing a nice and stable overclock doesn't need the mobo to change speeds. I quickly glanced at a review on your cooler and it'll certainly let you overclock some.

Also, first try one thing and then the next. For instance first uo the mem voltage to 2.7 or 2.65 and see what happens. (if it's stable at 3,7) then u can raise the vcore (in small increments it might not need a full 0.1 increase to be stable at 3,7 ghz.

You must of course also be able to face the fact that 3.7 is the upper limit of your cpu (so 3.6 for absolute stability)

I tried to adjust my Vcore in the BIOS setup and there are no Vcore adjust in the BIOS because it is only for Northwood CPU only, so I can only adjust it under windows mod which is the software that MSI feature called Core Center. is there any other possible I can adjust my Vcore.

If it doesn't work in the bios it doesn't work. I never worked with an MSI board before so I don't exactly know how their bios is.

Have u already tried the memory Vdimm?

If you can't up your vcore u should look for the highest stable overclock without vcore adjustment. That core center is for MSI overclocking (there should be a little metallic lookning thing on your mobo that syas Core center. Try raising the Vcore from there then. But only in little steps 0.025v at a time (small increments) because raising the vcore shortens the life span of your CPU.

Hello, many thanks for helping me. I have changed my cpu cooler from fan to water cooling which is Zalman Peserator 1, I reduce my cpu oc to 3.6 not 3.7 (its really unstable)and temperature almost under 60C (runing at 3.6) I dont know is good or bad, however even I use water cooling my system is still not stable (even worst if I play game), In MSI core center I adjust my Vcore to 1.4250v and memory is 2.7v and agp is 1.5v. and I am rising my vcore later to 1.4375v and others keep the same. do you think is ok if I keep Dram votage and agp the same and just adjust Vcore. and another thing what is prime 95.

I also have watercooling which by all accounts is better. Watch out with the reserator though because its perfomance is on par with the better aircooling systems. Make sure the tower is in an area where air can get to it. (in the summer let a fan blow air on it)

First of all I would like to know what you mean by unstable, does the system shut doan or do u get erros (in which case the memory is most likely to blame) Everything seems to be in order, never go over 1.6v with your cpu. Did you remember to lock AGP/ PCI ?? And if you use SATA drives these should be locked to, a lot of overclocking issues arrise from non locked AGP/PCI/SATA particularly SATA is very fussy about running out of spec.

Prime 95, I never used it, it's a program to test if your system is stable. It does this by simply loading your system to the max. But if your system is unstable during gaming then it probably won't pass prime either. There are lots of possibilities out there to test for system stability.

You should know that Corsair tests the pc4000 modules at 2,75V so this is stock voltage for 250fsb operation
