P4 connector question

Hi there! Recently after I got my AM2+ mobo I saw that it's missing the EPS 4-pin connector (that one for CPU power). And here's thing; can I solder the the female side from extension cord or I must order the connector to solder it?

If the connector is missing then you may have a board that can only run the low power processors which doesn't need it since they get their power from the 20/24 pin connector.
This means you may also be missing the required circuitry to reduce the 12v to the voltages the CPU needs.

Which motherbd is this and which CPU are you hoping to run in it?
