P4B266 BIOS setting question

What do the NORMAL, TURBO1, and TURBO2 settings do?

My system won't boot with TURBO2, but NORMAL and TURBO1 work just fine...
except that there is absoloutely no discernable performance difference
between NORMAL and TURBO1, according to all of my benchmarks.

I'm using 1GB of Muskin Black PC2100, w/ memory settings already manually
tweaked to 2-2-2-5, so perhaps TURBO1 does nothing more than set the memory
timings more aggressively.

Some people claim, Turbo1 setting will lock PCI/AGP speeds.
More interesting: there is a 3:4 memory setup above Fsb 132.
