P4E 3.0HT ? Answered Thank You All

I'd like to thank everyone that responded to my original posted question about why this new Intel P4E 3.0 HT processor
showed up in device manager as 2 same processors.
I dug at the Intel advanced support and they e-mailed me this.... Thank you for contacting Intel(R) Technical Support.

I understand that you are concerned about having two Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processors at 3.0E GHz in the Device Manger in Microsoft* WindowsXP*.

The reason that you are seeing two processors is the Hyper-Threading Technology with the processor. For more information about Hyper-Threading Technology please visit the following website:

So the answer is very clear straight from the horses mouth.
So I'll not think twice anymore about this, and just leave
the hyper-threading enabledHP seems to work great so far.
I've only been running the new PC for about 2 weeks, but
it's really fast.

PC 3200 DDR (512 Megs)Ram

The specs are fine for the price/service but you may want to upgrade your video card if you play 3D games or plan to.

Your computer comes with a Asus motherboard (a good thing)
