I am installing a single IDE 60GB hard drive on a P4p800.
Which IDE controller do I load for fresh XP installation using the F6 method?

If it's not an SATA drive you do not have to load any IDE controller using
F6. XP will automatically load the correct controller during setup.

Use IDE port 1, not the VIA (although it would also work). As stated
by Dave no drivers are needed.
