Greetings:

I recently upgraded my P4P800 board to bios 1019. Since then I have
been experiencing intermitent keyboard lockups. I either have to
unplug the keyboard and plug it back in or reboot to get it working
again.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. I do have
a Linksys 2 port KVM switch hooked inbetween.

Thanks.

I had a similar problem with a Dlink KVM with a P3B-F/Linux and a P4P800/XP
boxes. Switching between the two OS's seemed to cause all kinds of KB and
mouse oddities in either environment.

I switched to an Aten CS-14 KVM (to get 4 ports), and everything was fine.
Pure luck.

Does this have anything to do with your BIOS upgrade? Don't know, but you
might try a different KVM if you can borrow one. Apparently some KVMs only
know how to talk to Windows boxes.
