P4VMM2 Mainboard pc2100 1gb 266mhz non-ecc

I have a P4VMM2 mainboard and bought 2 memory sticks that are 1 gb each of PC2100 DDR 266Mhz non ecc LD memory. But I get a Blue screeen when the computer boots. HELP !

P4VMM2 which version... you got ...... some version they have 2xSDRAM and 2xDDR memory

and are you replace the pervious memory you have ....

is the ram you get from second hand or not... better do the memory test first..

and is your pervious work OK or has problem.... becuase that may be your memory slot have problem...

It is common on old ECS MB ... when it get old .. the capacitor near the memory slot become unstable..
