(Has been solved, thak you)

Hey guys,

So here's the deal. I've been running this mobo with 8gb(2x4gb) in channels 2&4 for years with absolutely no issue. I wanted to upgrade my ram, so I bought another 8gb kit of the same exact memory (G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600, 9-9-9-24, 1.5v) and when installed in the other 2 channels it will not boot. I get very many rapid beeps instead of a post.
I purchased the same memory kit thinking it would have no issues, so I'm not sure as to what it could be. I've tried reseating them several times as well as getting all the dust out of the way. I have not tried swapping the sticks with the originals for fear of it not posting at all after that.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Kevin

Solution
Memory Clock, DRAM Timings specifications are for one kit not multiple kits.

Q:
I want to install more memory, in addition to my existing memory kit. What are my options?

A:
We do not recommend mixing memory kits, regardless of brand or model.

By mixing memory kits together, there may be compatibility issues such as unable to boot or unable to operate at rated specifications.

Each of our memory kit are thoroughly tested to ensure compatibility within each memory kit. And because we have not tested our memory kit with your existing memory kit, we cannot guarantee compatibility when multiple kits are used.
