I have an e6700, 2GB corsair xms ddr2-800 cl4 (twinx2048-6400c4), and an nvidia 7900gtx.

I have both an Asus P5W64-WS Professional (workstation class 975x board) and a P5B-Deluxe (mid-value p965).

:?: Which board should I build my machine with? :?: SLI / crossfire not important to me. Performance, features, stability, longevity, and power consumption are. I am leaning towards the P5W64-WS but from what I have read the p965 might actually show slightly better performance and power consumption numbers. I realize the P5W64-WS has more pci-e lanes but not sure if I will ever use them anyway.

Can anybody offer their opinion with or without links to recent benchmarks / reviews, thanks!

I made a small mistake, I have a 7900gtx not a 78.. I edited that.

I already own both of the formentioned motherboards. I think I have decided to go with the P5B Deluxe (non-wifi). I believe it will have slightly lower power consumption, and will also return slightly faster 'marks. Better overclocking too, right? Anyone have any evidence otherwise?

So here is part list if interested, :

Asus P5B-Deluxe ( :?: should I go with the P5W64-WS 975x board instead :?: )
e6700
Corsair xms ddr2-800 (cl4)
nvidia 7900gtx
wd raptor wd740adfd (os primary)
wd raptor wd150adfd (apps secondary)

Spit me some feedback nerds !
