Hey all,
After some exhaustive patching, reading and benchmarking, I have finally gotten my 4X1GB TWIN2X2048-6400C4D sticks to work on my p5N32-E without ANY problems under Vista 32-bit. I update all drivers from nVidia's website, applied patch KB929777, and I was still getting BSOD under XP 32-bit and Vista. MemTest v1.70 gave errors at random addresses during tests 3 and 5 w/ 4GB (EPP enabled, auto everything)
[EDIT] I then flashed BIOS to 1101 (beta ver.), memtest still gave erros, but OSes crashed at random.
I poked around the web (two evenings worth) and came across this post yesterday:

Under auto mode, w/ no EPP/SLI mem enabled, MB configs as follows:
DDR2 800
5-5-5-12 instead of auto
command rate 1T
memory voltage 2.1v
with EPP/SLI enable:
DDR2 800
4-4-4-4-12 auto
command rate 1T
memory voltage 2.1v
Following some of "Ram Guy's" advice, I set advertised timings manually, changed my command rate from 1T to 2T, ran memtest for 1.5 hr, NO PROBS. THEN, I set everything to auto, EPP/SLI enabled and manually set command rate to 2T, NO problems. All my voltages were ok as per "Ram Guy's" posts, so I left them alone. Memetest for 1.5hrs ok.
The long-short of it after fiddiling with timings, and a 11hr Orthos stress test, and a "real world" stress test (WMP11 playing w/ visualizations, Warcraft 2, a bunch of hi-res pictures open, nVidia "Smoke" demo) resulted in a stable system after over 12 hrs continuous uptime, no reboots.
