I'm building a workstation with 4GB of DDR2-800 @ 4-4-4 (the cheapest of the Dominator Modules) and a C2D E6700.

I was set on buying an ASUS P5B Deluxe, which was promptly available, and I didn't consider the 680i because it couldn't be found anywhere. Problem is, right now, my preferred vendor has the ASUS P5N32-E SLI in stock, and my question is, should I go with P5B Deluxe or P5N32-E SLI? I'm inclined to stick with the P5B, mainly because the P5N32-SLI is a good 30% more expensive... What do you guys think?

Now from what I've seen, the nVidia 680i chipset has a better memory controller... but even then, it's much more expensive...

I'll be using an E6700 @ stock 2.67Ghz and I won't OC: this is a workstation, so I'm being reasonably conservative about running too extreme.

This will have to take 100% CPU use 24/7, and it's a production environment. But even so, we've chosen to get very good memory, because most of the code that this machine will run is highly memory-dependent.

Also, we'll probably use OpenSUSE 10.2 (64-bit version), not WinXP. So that's not a concern either...
