I just built this system and have installed both XP Pro 32bit and Vista Home Premium 64bit in a dual boot. I don't have any issues with XP other than it will not see all of my memory ( but thats just the 32bit OS ) however when I boot into Vista I sometimes get the BSOD and then reboot then it's fine. I have 4 gigs of (Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 2GB Kit DDR2-800 XMS2-6400 memory installed and the voltage is set to 2.0 volts. The timings are set to auto and I have the latest bios installed. Could the timings be my problem or something else? Please advise if possible thanks.

First of all from what I've read the motherboard is picky about memory, is your Corsair on the QVL? I have the same board and Mushkin memory which isn't on the QVL and mine runs fine but I've seen others with a problem so I thought I'd ask. The voltage for the RAM your using is 2.1v which might be at least part of the problem. Another question, which BIOS do you have? I know you said you have the latest but the most recent one on the Asus site is a Beta BIOS, just wanted to make sure that's not the one your using.

My memory is on the QVL and the bios is the beta. The reason I'm running the beta is that Asus tech told me too . I'll change the voltage and see what that does thanks for the fast reply and help.

Changed voltage and set timings according to Corsair's web site so far so good . Thanks again for the help.
