Hi Folks,
I have a problem with my motherboard P5P43TD PRO, I know is quite old motherboard anyway, I used 4GB Patriot Memory 2x2Gb on frequency 1600Mhz manualy overclocked Multiplier x Bus Speed 7.5 x 400 MHz Core Speed 3000.0 MHz and works just fine without any issues,
Yesterday I bought the second pair of RAM Corsair Dominator 2x2Gb frequency 1600Mhz , with these two extra RAM system doesnt boot, so I restarted PC, then some safe frequency of ram 1066Mhz and overclocking failed message appear please pres F1 to configure, then I quit a BIOS without any changes continue to windows. Then I restarted the PC from the windows and bingo, now the RAMs on frequency works on 1600Mhz and processor on 3.0Ghz without any issues,
the problem is only when I turned off the PC, then doesnt work, but if I can run the windows, and restar PC its works again without any issues, I relly dont know why thats happening, and why its not working from the begginning
PS: if the RAMs are on frequency 1333mhz it working even if I turned off the PC.
Do you have any idea how to solve this intricate puzzler to keep RAMs on 1600Mhz without any restarting from Windows. Here are some informations from CPUZ
