So I decided to use my old parts to build my uncle a pc (he is using pentium 4 omg....).
However I encounter this problem:
Mobo: P5Q SE PLUS
RAM: DDR 2 800 6 GB
CPU: Q8400
PSU: Corsair CX 430
HDD: IDE hard drive
GPU: I don't remember... really old card, probably geforce 9800 gt don't think it will consume that much power

1. Computer boots, fans and lights work
2. Enter bios
3. Change 1st boot priority drive to USB (to install windows 7)
4. save and exit
5. Computer restarts, no post, no display, black screen
6. I have to reset my cmos by pulling out the battery in order to enter bios again
7. repeat step 1

I don't have onboard video port, but I'm pretty sure my GPU works

So, I really don't know what is going on, my friend told me that my cmos battery probably died or mobo fried any suggestions?
I don't think my mobo is dead though because it beeps
