Hi, what exactly are the differences between p67 and z68 motherboards, i read that the z68 comes with integrated video, and if I'm gonna use a dedicated graphic card whats the point of getting a z68 o.o
z68 motherboards e.g. Asrock's Extreme4/3 gen3 has more/better specs than an average p67(also from what ive read) such as USB 3.0 three way SLI/CrossFireX
3 and 6/GBs sata pins and stuff like that xD
Z68 came later, so USB3 was basically requirement, but it's provided by a non-Intel chip (so nothing to do with Z68).
3-way SLI/crossfire is possible with both (limited by MB design).
Z68, besides the IGP, it offers SSD caching (which is not the reason I bought one). Other than that, I have no idea.
My reasons were dual PCIe x16 slots (in x8+x8) and IGP.
