Okay, so I just tonight swapped out my old MSI p67 mobo for an Asus z68.

I can get into bios just fine. All my drives are recognized. Windows will even begin to boot.

Of course after the logo BAM a quick BSOD and sudden shutdown without so much as a breath. This happens after all drivers are loaded in safe mode as well.

I am left with one possible solution, to completely reinstall windows 7. Is there something else it could be? What should I try? I REALLY don't want to reinstall windows and want that to be a last ditch effort...

Thanks,
-N

AHCI, found out windows 7 wont boot up after a mobo swap without a full-reinstall. Kind of sucks, but oh well... Now I have a host of other problems. @_@ This damn motherboard change is such a headache...

I had everything running well for a while, then suddenly the power to the PC cut off. Now I push the power button and it turns on for a second, only to instantly shut down again. All my fans spin and light up, my speakers click on, but then bam off... And I have to unplug everything just to get it to do that again.

Resetting the CMOS didn't fix it. Made sure my heatsink was properly installed, checked the power cables... Guess either the PSU is gone (It's still rather new and worked just fine before though?_?) or my mobo is faulty... Though why was that working for a while too?

Yeah, sometimes it works without reinstall, ... but it is the best to do it again.

Could be the drivers, old and new clashed.

Yeah sorry, forgot the GPU's. 2 GTX 560 TI's in SLI.

All of this was running fine in my old MSI P67 board... And it was working just a little while ago... Though now the damn thing wont even start =(

Well I finally just resorted to unhooking the PSU and using one from my other PC... It worked... So I'm assuming my PSU died... Guess I have to RMA =(

Thanks for the help.
