Please advise me if my old P67X-UD3-B3 MB is able to run a PCIe SSD which I want to clone my current OS onto. I have read that it can't run the OS (W10 Pro 64) but the Samsung 950 Pro PCIe SSD will support "Legacy" Bios...? Please help I'm a bit out of my depth here...
Thanks
Mike

Solution
No, a P67 motherboard/BIOS does not support booting from NVMe without modding (not recommended).

The vast majority of users won't notice a difference between NVMe and a decent 2.5" SATA drive and, given the additional cost of NVME (+ adapter), a standard 2.5" SATA drive would be a better way to go.
