Yes, it supports Solid State Drives (SSD) and Hard Disk Drives (HDD).

Yes, the ASUS P6TD Deluxe supports SSD, and any SATA equipped MOBO will support an SSD. The 'problem' is the SATA2 limit of 300 MB/s (3 Gb/s), so ultra fast SSD's will need a SATA3 {edit} Card with x4 PCIe lanes, to utilize the faster SSD's (e.g. 550MB/s) out today.
