P8Z77-V PRO Z77 ATX Power Connections

Hello.

I have the P8Z77-V PRO Z77 motherboard

My PSU (cant remember make or model as im in work) has both a 24 Pin EATXPWR and also 8-Pin EAT12V connectors.

Do I need to plug both in motherboard sockets or just either one of the 2 connecttors/

(im worried about putting too much power into mobo if I use both)
