P8z77-v problematic USB port

I'm having a problem with my ASUS p8z77-v motherboard. The USB 3.0 port right next to the ps/2 port is cutting in and out. I wanted to plug my mouse into it, but every half hour or so the port turns off for about 10 seconds, making it useless. I have a keyboard plugged into the neighboring one, if that matters.

Sounds like there could be something loose in there so maybe you could check it out and see, if there is then it could be sent back for repair.
