Hi Guys,

I got an ASUS P8Z77-V board (+i5-3570K) and a SAPPHIRE 7870 OC. Now I want to throw in another 7870, but I dont know if my PCIe connection is good enough. The ASUS-site says:

2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8)

Does this mean 2 7870 run in PCIe 3.0 x8? This would be fine, wouldn't it?

Yes, that is what it means and yes, that will be fine for CFing the HD7870s.
