P965 Onboard Raid Question

I have an ASUS P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP on the way, and I was just trying to figure out how I was going to have everything hooked up. My question is, can I do all of this with the primary raid controller: Want to have 3 drives in a Raid 5 for storage, 2 drives in Raid 0 for OS, and then a SATA burner. That will use all 6 ports, but can I have multiple arrays like that, and have the burner?
Thanks

Hey,
I own an ABIT-AB9 PRO motherboard which has the same chipset (P965) and the associated onboard RAID. With the P965 southbridge itself, you can only have ONE ARRAY at a time. Wether it be RAID level 0, 1, 1+0, 5, etc. On my motherboard, it has another controller on it by Jmicron that controls an extra 2 sata ports and supports RAID 0 or 1. If this is a similar case on your motherboard, you an setup a RAID 5 on the P965 southbridge, and then create a 2-Disk RAID 0 stripe on the accomanpying controller. I didn't see any replies so I thought i could see if i could help. Any questions let me know or PM me.

Hmm, not what I wanted to hear. Yes, the P5B Deluxe does have the Jmicron also, but there is only one sata port for it onboard. So I guess I can't do what I want to without getting a raid card.
