Hi, I just upgraded to the latest bios. There was somewhere in AI tweaker in the previous bios i had, a number that was the multiplier for the Ghz of the CPU. I remember i was using manual mode and i was typing for example 36 which mean my cpu will run on 3.6 Ghz maximum (did this math 36x100).
Like this i could set my cpu to maximum 3.6 ghz and i could separately manually set my RAM at 1600. Now after updating to latest bios, I cant find this number anymore... Only BCLK can be adjusted but it also affects the RAM frequency, are not independent any more... Thus, if i want my RAM at 1600 my cpu must run at 3800 which is way too high for my preferences. What can I do to fix this? If i decrease the BCLK it decreases also the ram frequency and i dont want that.
The only solution i found was to disable turbo mode on cpu... Is that a problem? Im losing GHz like this though, cause i would like to go up to 3,5 but with 1600 ram. How can I do that? And if I cant, disabling turbo mode is a problem??
thanx a lot guyz i need help asap
