P9x79 Deluxe USB Power Question

Does anybody knows how to disable the USB ports when the PC is off? I installed some bias lighting that is powered via USB, and will like them to turn off when the pc is off.

Try setting EPU Power Saving Mode to Enabled in BIOS.

what about an unpowered USB hub? I don't think you'll find any settings you can adjust to make this happen unless you have a recent motherboard and even then i doubt it.

Check the BIOS , there may be a solution in the power settings.

How are you liking this board so far? I was considering getting it, however I remember reading a review on Tom's Hardware about the USB 3.0 ports sharing bandwidth... Have you noticed any performance issues with read/write speeds with devices plugged into more than one port? Just curious.....

If your PSU supports ErP, then you can enable ErP in the APM section of UEFI on our motherboards. On the Corsair AX PSUs this cuts power to USB in standby.
