Hello all! i just recently built my new system around the P9X79 mobo, since it had all the functionality i was looking for. Ive installed it in a CoolerMaster tower, and when i powered it all up for the first time (with the HD audio panel plug in the motherboard) i get a problem with the soundcard reporting constant plugging and unplugging of the headphone jack. i tried unplugging the front panel HD audio plug from the motherboard, and i still get the same problem. its almost a moot point, as i use either the nvidia audio out to send audio to the speakers on the tv that i use as a monitor, or my headphones wireless dongle (wich is a creative soundcard, in my understanding) for audio but i would still like to reconcile this issue if at all possible. and yes, i have updaded the drivers to the latest available version.

Make sure your mb bios is updated and the cc labs headphone is with it drivers?? And the intel chipset drivers updated for the USB ports??? If they are and the system still acting strange try going into the audio devices and make sure the onboard audio is set first. Sometime the video card hdmi audio output is set as main audio output.
