Hello,
I have att dsl. They recently gave me a Netgear 7550 modem/router. It sucks! My wireless devices work intermittently, my printer no longer works I won't go on. They have told me I can replace it with a Motorola 3360 (which has even worse reviews than this Netgear) or a PACE 4111. What would you choose? I do have a Linksys wr610 v2 that I have retired. Any chance of getting a new modem to work with it that att will support (that support is questionable) or choose one of these two 2-wire combos?

I wouldn't go with the Pace 4111. I just recently upgraded to it and I have intermittent wireless connectivity. Even when the wireless does work, it feels like dial up. I had to go back to my old 2Wire 2701.

Thanks for your response. It is as I feared. However, enough time lapsed that I did install the Pace 4111. For now, it is performing better than the Netgear 2-wire did. Even though I have the mid-speed ATT DSL line, my speeds are running close to the minimum for that level and the test results are consistent. Does AT&T ever provide better than bottom-of-the-line equipment? They get you between a rock and a hard place. If I choose to install a better 2-wire, they won't provide any support. If I use their pathetic equipment, I end up spending more time than I have with their tech support. Oh yes. Their support is supposed to be 24/7. They turn off their phones at 11pm PT.
