Hi
I am currently trying to short out my uncle 2nd hand Packard Bell all in one touch pc.

The original problem - pc shutdown when using windows security features or apps(Bubble witch saga 3).

What I tried so far.
Opened up pc to look for dust - almost none was found. Reinstalled Windows 10 - pc can handle more apps now, but running multiple apps or demanding app - Pc shutsdown.
BIOS has no fancy settings - even less settings than my Pentium 4 in 2007.
Also what I have noticed hard drive speed runs high frequently(analisis is according to task manager) - at lowest runs at 20%. Ave 60-70% and at times it runs to critical 90+%.

Basically i'm out of ideas. Any advice?

P4's run like little furnaces, you should monitor your heat, it wouldn't be uncommon that the thermal paste is dried out.

It's called disk caching, consider replacing the HDD with a low-cost SSD, that will eliminate at least one bottleneck with the system. SSD's are close to 5X faster over a magnetic drive and they massively reduce the change to every see or have that disk caching issue.
