Hello,

This problem refers to my Packard Bell EasyNote LJ65.

I tried to use the machine today(yesterday it worked perfectly) but it did not boot to my Homepage.

I then discovered that I could not open any files on the PC an error came up saying 'Windows cannot accessthe specific device, path or filfe. You may not have the permission to access them'.Nothing at all works. MSOffice, Google, IE just nothing.

What can I do??

Go to computer management, open the User Groups folder, then make sure your user name is in the Administrators Group and no other groups. In the User folders there would be Administrator, You, Guest, Network and Helpdesk, plus any you would have added on top. Anything looking suspicious you might want to delete.
