Packard Bell - Random lockups

I've got a PB easynote M7269 Laptop that for reasons unknown just randomly locks up and freezes. I've check the memory, HDD and been over the motherboard - nothing, Installed a fresh copy of XP - still freezes, and event viewer shows nothing abnormal.

Anyone got any idea's?

Have you noticed it running rather hot?

Runs at 42~50'c, I thought heat and clean it all out but still no success. I'm now going over all the caps..... Wouldn't usually goto these lengths but its challenged me now
