Packard bell windows 7 unable to connect to WiFi

Hi I have a Packard bell TM01 that can no longer connect to the WiFi, it's not an issue with the WiFi hub as it's working fine in all other devices. The problem is that I can no longer see the wireless network adapter installed in the device manager settings. I've checked to see if it's a hidden icon but still nothing, I can only see the ethernet connection available there...I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling this one in the hope it might remember it should have the wireless adapter too but that didn't work either. Have tried all troubleshooting with no such luck...any help would be great thank you :)

How would I go about doing that? Sorry not great with technology, is that done by physically taking a part out or just disabling it within the device manager? Thank you
