Recent situation made me switch from wired to wireless on my pc. Immediately started experiencing packet loss. My pc is the only wireless device experiencing packet loss. Tried pinging 8.8.8.8 and got a 50% packet loss. Switching back to wired is not an option.

You could spend a lot of time trying to troubleshoot the wireless issue with questionable chances of success, or get a very good pair of AV1200 MIMO powerline adapters, see HERE.

If you want to troubleshoot, I would start with looking at sources of interference from both surrounding networks using THIS, and from random radio sources nearby, such as wireless mouse, speakers, KB, phones, baby monitors, among many other things. Also consider the location of the adapter. If it is USB you can put it on a 10 foot extension and try other locations.

Nothing seems to be interfering. I've tried changing the MTU limit and switching channels but no luck.
