As title, I am moving to Vancouver, CA in 2 months. I have a few options on how to pack it
1. Ship it by FedEx
2. Bring as carry-on luggage (Just fit in the size limits)
3. Ditch the case, pack others separately and buy a new case at destination
4. Pack important components in carry-on, put the case to checked baggage

I think that option 4 would be the best one, are there any better options? Are there any problems with security? I have heard that cables must be disconnected otherwise it may be regarded as a bomb and not allowing you to board the plane.

Well I don't know what's best in your case.

If it were me, I would ship it FedEx. First I'd remove the CPU cooler because mine is oversized and weighs a ton. I'd also remove the graphics card. Those two components would get shipped in separate packages. I'd make darn sure everything else was 100% secure. Then I'd just be crossing my fingers the whole time. If I still had the original box for the case, I'd use that. If it applies in your case (pun hah), you could fill the inside of the case with packing peanuts, as well as the outside. That could be fun.
