Hey all,

I have relatives who live in the states, and they are visiting in a few months. I bought a motherboard for them to bring. My question is, how should i tell them to pack the motherboard for it to be safe without its box? It will be transported in the carry-on bag.
My other option is to leave the mobo in its original box but put it in the dispatch bag.

I'd personally recommend keeping it in the box.

If that isn't an option, make sure it is in its ESD resistant bag, wrappted in good thick bubbe wrap around that. Don't wrap the bubble wrap too tightly though, as you don't want to apply pressure to deliacte hardware on the motherboard.

For the best chance of safe travel it would stay in the box.
