When opening any IE page I noticed a message down on the left hand side of
each page a error. The Details are:

Done, but with errors on page.

Clicking on this the details about this are:

Line: 105 or so0me other number
Char: 1 - 7 also another number
Error: Object expected and or ' } ' or another etc
Code: 0

I have all updates for XP installed including SP 2. I have tried "System
Restore" and that doesn't work. My Anti-virus is up to date also.

Another problem I have is when I click on a link it doesn't load. I have
check all pop up settings and do fallow the suggested way to allow things to
load that I am sure are safe. I hope that made sense.

Also it appears that Java is not working or not installed. I was sure I had
this as I used it before for my work. How can I check to see if I have this
or if it is working right?

Hope someone can help me with all this. I need to get back to work soon. A
break is always nice but not for to long!

"Done, but with errors on page."

That is a feature for web page developers. To turn it off: Start > Control
Panel > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Remove the checkmark from "Display
a notification about every script error" and place a checkmark in "Disable
script debugging".

To obtain Java:
http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp

Read the installation instructions carefully.
