Hi,
Whenever I try to turn on my ASUS X552CL-SX037H I get a BSOD with the error 'Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area'. My computer is pretty old now, I purchased it a couple years ago and it has been reliable until now. I mainly use it for school and work stuff.
A couple days ago, when I was able to boot it and log in, I found out that AVG Antivirus had disabled itself and I couldn't turn it back on no matter what. I also had no network connections and the only way I was able to connect to the internet was with an Ethernet cable. I tried to turn on Windows Defender but the computer crashed and I was greeted with a BSOD and I haven't been able to log in since. I have a feeling the antivirus might possibly be the root of this problem?
I've spent hours browsing various forums looking for solutions but none of them seem to work. I can't even boot into safe mode without the bsod coming up. It could also be a driver problem; I recently downloaded an updated driver for a graphics tablet...
I've tried almost everything in the advanced repair options but still nothing. I would rather not reset because I have so much work stuff I need.
