Pagefile - Best Position & Partition Type

Thinking of making a separate partition for my Pagefile. Traditional harddrive not an SSD.

Which is fastest, beginning of drive or end? Also what filesystem for the Pagefile partition?

Don't do that on SSD, it is good to do that on the HDD.

On HDD is recommended Fat32 for faster access on small partitions.

Do not use that on SSD.

If u create a small partition for page on SSD, it will not have any effect on performance.

Ok, given that the tracks are smaller at the beginning of a drive, should the Pagefile partition be placed at the beginning or the end of the drive?

I'm think beginning because if it was at the end there would be an access delay between jumping the OS partition and the Pagefile partition.

Beginning of the drive, the heads are parked there, so they will have fastest start up.
After reading it again, I see that u are talking about HDD : )
