It started when my cd rom laser went out.
I went out and bought a iomega cdburner.
My first install other than my voodoo and i messed it up.
I left the burner on slave when as a direct replacement for the cdrom it should have been a master.
The software loaded but with errors.
And cds took 10 minuites to autoload.
After a while i realized what i had done and set to master.
Burned cds for weeks with no problems.
Now computer will not sit still for defrag ot scandisk.
And now windows crashes whenever i insert a cd.
Device manager swears device is working properly.
I simply must burn my mp3 collection before i wipe the disk clean/reinstall windows.
I get 0028: errors and a crash when i insert any kind of disk.
Except my linux install disk.
