So my pc turns on but nothing else when connected to the power supply. If I disconnect the CPU from the psu everything turns on gpu, fans,CPU fans. But once I plug the CPU back in nothing turns on I just get a blank screen and a light that says the pc is on? I'm really confused and I'll elaborate if no one understood this is really getting on my nerves!!

Thought so. I disconnected the cable which powers the CPU and then everything works the fans and whatnot. I reconnect the power to the CPU and now nothing turns on. Idk if that helps

Give me a list of what you want and I'll tel you guys

Are you referring to the 4 pin / 8 pin EPS cable that plugs into the socket near the CPU ? Is the PSU big enough ? Does it have correct cables ? Have you used adapters ? Did you use correct cable ? Are you sure you put CPU in right ? Didn't bend any pins installing CPU ?

MERGED QUESTION
Question from ZionXylenes : "My fans and gpu aren't getting power."

Yes it's the 4 pin EPs cable. The power supply is evga 600w. Yes I used correct cable. CPU is prebuilt so CyberPowerPC installed.

It's a core i5 6400 it's compatible it wouldn't make sense for a prebuilt pc to come with a non compatible CPU. And it is my motherboard is a gigabyte ga-h110m-a

I took out the power supply and put it a new one the evga 600w put in a msi gtx 1060 and that's about it. I plan to put a ssd in it in a few days. Idk if this helps pc is brand new never used so it could also be something else.

To tell you truth I don't remember if I am. But I'll try

Again it is a core i5 6400 on a gigabyte ga-h110m-a. I used the pc once and for liek 10 min just to check if it was working then I went on to put in the new psu and gpu.

Could this be a faulty motherboard? I highly doubt because i used the pc for like 5 min before i went on to install a new psu and gpu. Ive been reading and it could be that im using the wrong eps cable or that the motherbord is faulty. Ive been looking into the msi h110m. Would i be having the same problems with that mobo??
