I'm trying to install windows for a long time and it's unsucessfull
Before this happened I had 1 yro installation of windows 7
It worked flawlessly for longer time
But few weeks ago it started to slow down
It didn't really slowed down but my games were having problems running normally
I could run most of them at max settings and at 60 FPS
But they would stop for a second or 2 and continue
And that would happen every ten seconds
So it was unplayable
And also AVG was affecting some of my games so I would just disable it when needed and games would run normally
But a few days after that game throttling i wasn't even able to login to windows
Sometimes it would boot to logon screen but it was blank
I couldn't login or anything
Then I tried safe mode
Safe mode would sometimes boot sometimes it wouldn't
So when it did I copied all the neccessary files to my ext hdd (save games, videos, etc.)
They were copying so slow but it finished
Then I tried a fresh installation of windows and it was installing so slow that I quit
I tried it more times but unsuccesfully
I swapped a hard drive to an older one still the same tried disabling floppy drive in boot devices (even though I haven't had one, I read somewhere it helps)
And I also changed IDE to AHCI.
Tried to install it now still booting slow to installatiom screen and everything but after i choosed a partirion to install to it starzed to install normally
Now it's finished and it's "preparing for first use"...
It's at desktop screen know and it works normally.
So what caused that problems
Was it a malware?
And could the AVG be the problem
