Hello. I've just purchased an Audigy2 card for my PC. I'm just a little
confused as to what audio options to select in Painkiller. There's a bloody
huge list, including Direct3D with hardware support, EAX 1-3 etc, etc.

To those who have an Audigy2 card and Painkiller. Which one should I be
selecting here?

Thanks

What kind of speaker setup do you have? If you have surround sound I
would go with EAX3.

I'm using some freshly purchased Creative 7.1 speakers. So I'll give it a
try.

What I've noticed so far is that when selecting games to use EAX in games,
when I return to the desktop, my own Custom EAX settings have been messed
up. They still show as being on, but I have to disable EAX and re-enable it
for it to actually use them.
