I have two requests here;

1. Does anyone have a saved game with the necessary Tarot cards to go
to Trauma level?

2. Giving that up has anyone figured out how to see the alternate
ending or at least indicate what it is?

I have finished this game twice, last time on Nightmare and now it has
gone into 'SAVE GAME" script error which is supposedly a risk with it
so I cannot move forward to get the needed Tarot cards to play Trauma.

Any help would be MOST appreciated.

The problem you're having with the "Saved Game" may have to do with the
patch version you're using. Patch verson 1.3.1 should fix any "Saved Game"
problems you're having.

The alternate ending isn't really special. I recommend you install the
"Powermad" script. This will allow you to play at any level at any time.
In other words, you can play the required level immediately to get the
Alternate ending. The link is below. Note that the page opens with the
"Powermad" script for the expansion pack. You'll need to click on the
appropriate link to get the correct script for the original "Painkiller"
game. Hope this helps.

Many thanks. I would have been VERY disappointed to have battled my
way through all of TRAUMA for that ending. First of all it makes the
sequel wrong and second it seems in contrast to the idea of story
itself.

Guess I'll find out more when I load up the sequel tomorrow but I had
expected something more in line with the Insomniac and Nightmare
endings... maybe have Alastor reveal something about Daniel himself
with respect to the girl... you get the idea.

Anyway MANY thanks. You just saved me a few days.

Not sure if you played this game or not but on the off chance you, or
someone watching did, I have gotten myself stuck. In the Labs where
you use the spring boards to make your way to the top of a cylyndrical
room with various levels on it. I seem to have killed all the nasties
but cannot seem to find a way to get up and out. There is a spring
board on this level but it won't push me high enough to either leap
onto a nearby pipe or right out.

Any suggestions anyone?

I have not yet played this game. However, I would suggest you post this
question no the Painkiller site forum. They are ususally good at helping in
situations like this. Or there may be a chance that someone else has
encountered the same problem over there. Good luck.
