Hi guys, im planning to build a pc and im thinking abt buying 1 8gb ram first then buy another one later.
I read somewhere that 2(not paired) sticks of ram can cause problems even though both are the same ram, only not paired.
Is it true? Should buy paired 8gbs or 1 by 1 or 1 stick 16gb?

Yes it is true, you are better buying a matched pair, basically, a matched pair, were built together in the factory from the exact same batch of chip's from the same maufacturer.

However, if you buy an 8gb stick now and one later, who's to even say they even have the same chips on them, G.skill for instance use Samsung and Hynix IC's, I could buy 1 stick one week and it'll have Samsung B chips on it, next week it might look the same but might have Hynix chips on it.

Is there anyway to fix the problem so both sticks can work well? Im really tigth on budget.

Its a chance you take, might work, might not.
Ram is sold in kits for a reason, Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time, some motherboards can be very sensitive to this.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.
If you by 2 x 8gb sticks at different times, the ram should have the same voltage, speed and cas numbers.
Usually, 8gb is enough. You could consider just buying a 8gb kit of 2 x 4gb.

Problem is, i will only buy this once for like 4years, so i think in 2 years games will require at least 8gb will recommend 12/16gb. So im kind of stuck here.
Paired rams cost a bit more than buying them separately too.
