This is my current msinfo32:

I'm playing on low settings for Overwatch with high texture quality and epic texture filtering quality. 100% render scale. I am still getting about 55-70 fps and it is not very smooth in team fights. My monitor is overclocked to 83 hz and am hoping to get above 90 fps for it. I am also wondering if my motherboard is even decent enough for gaming.

Also, this is a pre-built computer from Lenovo (H50-55). I only replaced the power supply to a 500 watt PSU and replaced the integrated graphics with an RX 560 4gb oc edition
Thanks

I feel your pain. I mostly play Overwatch. I had 1080p 60hz monitor before moving to 1080p 144hz monitor and upgraded my gpu. I play on medium...
If you're after higher frame rates then you would need to upgrade the CPU eventually.

The problem is... those particular APUs aren't particularly good. Since it's an A10-7800 you have there isn't any meaningful upgrade you can make to it; at least not enough to warrant the expenditure in my opinion. I am assuming the motherboard is FM2+.

I see. I've disabled the integrated graphics a while back and Overwatch is telling me that my CPU is limiting my performance. Should I just save up for a whole new gaming build instead of upgrading my CPU?

My motherboard is just the default mobo from the Lenovo H50-55 prebuilt computer. I checked msinfo32 but it doesn't tell me what my mobo is. I'm assuming it's really bad

From what I could find it seems the A10-7800 is for the older FM2+ platform, so would assume it's the older motherboards too. Had it been the newer APUs on AM4 then there would be a better upgrade path available. The ideal thing would be to save up for a new build.

When I had the x4 760k I would lower the resolution of the game to gain a small fps boost. You could try that to see if it is acceptable for you.

Okay thank you very much!

I feel your pain. I mostly play Overwatch. I had 1080p 60hz monitor before moving to 1080p 144hz monitor and upgraded my gpu. I play on medium setting and getting consistent 144fps. My gaming experience is so much smoother with my new monitor and gpu. yeah... i would save up for a new system. You may be able to reuse your rx 560, psu, HDD/SSD... in your new build good luck
