pairing 1gb with 2gb

I've an Asus p5nmx mobo with 1gb 667 & 2gb 800 paired and its giving me blue screens. Is there any way to get the both sticks working properly?

You should always pair with matching modules.

There were no 667 2gb ddr2 sticks so i had to buy the 800 one. Please suggest me any oc config with custom latency or anything just to make it work otherwise one stick would be useless.
