Build Advice Pairing a 3060 with an i5-13700K ?

i am bulding a pc for rendering and aftereffect etc

Will a 3060 and i5-13700k work fine together or I have to choose i7-12700k or 13700k ?

also, which motherboards support overclock for i5 and i7 ?

The cpu choice depends on your use case. How many cores you will need.

The i5 13600k will need a Z690 with USB bios flashback or a Z790 board.

It depends on price. The 13500 performs very similarly to the 12700k. The 13700k will get you more cores if you can benefit from then than that seems like a good idea. The 3060 12gb is a good card assuming you can make use of it and its Vram.

the 13th gen are already max oc'ed by factory default. U just have to release the limits in bios settings for unlimited turbo duration and power settings...

That will get the job done as long as you are okay with the price.
