Question pairing and Ryzen 3 or core I3 with a 2080 / RX 6700 xt

curious would this be a bad paring for these cards?
a Ryzen 3 or i3? I know i5 or Ryzen 5 would work out just curious with these low enders.

Its a bad pairing, both are 4 core CPUs and nowadays they are starting to show their age a bit.

What CPUs are we talking about? Between the fastest and slowest Ryzen 3s, there's something like 40% worth of performance and an order of magnitude between i3s, something Intel has sold for more than a decade.

This is a bit like asking if "a Ford" is a good car to buy, without knowing if it's a 2021 Ford Mustang or a 1984 Ford Escort.

I agree. If you're getting a 10100F or a 3300X, you would probably be fine. It would bottleneck the 6700XT a bit but it'll handle it like a champ

If it's a 2200G or a 6th Gen i3 it's a bad idea.

I see mention of 3300X but I can't find that anywhere.

Not sure if 3200G is much improvement over 2200G

For i3 was looking at:
10100F

Obviously it begs the question if you are buying those, why just not buy a low grade i5.
