Pairing another Memory

Just a question guys hope someone can help.

I have an old system, the RAM that i was using was a G.skill F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM (2Gx2) the specs is:

so im planning to add extra 4 gigs of ram with the same brand but i dont know if this will still be compatible with my existing memory.

You may need to adjust the voltage in BIOS. Except I don't see any other issue.

i didnt change any settings within my bios, so when you say i have to adjust the voltage, i have to adjust the voltage for to 1.6v or 1.5 volts?

Up to 1.65 volts is safe for DDR3 RAM.

Set the RAM voltage to the higher voltage - 1.6 volts. The lower voltage RAM will work reliably at the higer voltage. The higher voltage RAM may not work reliably at the lower voltage.

Indeed you won't have any problem for upgrading the 2 sticks you said. Check your BIOS if it automatically takes 1.6v. And if not set to 1.6.

This isn't so hassle as you are worrying. Nothing to worry about. You have chosen the correct already.
