Hi there. I'm planning to upgrade my CPU to i7-6700, along with a new mobo H110M-D. The reason I chose that mobo because I'm tight on budget.

Is H110M-D good enough for i7-6700? I've ask a lot of people and retailer. Some of them said that with H110M-D, the i7-6700 couldn't go for its full power. Is that true?

Fyi, I have no intention of overclocking / using dual gpu.

My current build:
AMD Phenom ii x6 1090T Black Edition
8GB RAM DDR3
MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G

Solution
The H110M-D is fine to pair with an i7 6700. The i7 WILL be able to run at full power.

Any reason why you won't get an i5 though? The i7 is not necessary for gaming.
Cturbo sorry I accidently downvote your reply, as this is my first time using this site and I dont know how to quote your answer.

Back to the topic, initially I did planning to take an i5-6600. I will be doing gaming, programming and rendering (not that much). But then I thought why not go for i7-6700. So i5-6600 is good enough for gaming?
